More individual athletes and teams are realizing the benefits of dryland training. As a Sport Performance Training Coach, I have seen many hard working and motivated athletes reap the benefits of sport specific dryland training programs.
The rewards of this type of training are numerous. Young athletes who participate in safe, well-planned training programs can experience improved individual fitness, improved team results AND most definitely, injury prevention.
Through Fit to the Core Foundations, programs for young athletes can focus on such components as: speed, speed endurance, agility, balance, flexibility, coordination, core strength and overall functional strength. All of this takes place in a motivating and enjoyable atmosphere.
Here is a list of some of the teams I have had the privilege of working with:
Cataraqui Clippers U13 Regional Boys Team – 2007 - 2011
Cataraqui Clippers High Performance Program (ages U10 – U15) – Winter 2009
